Dominic Kirkman, MEng (hons)
As an Engineer with a background in architecting, implementing and supporting regulated medical devices and software, it was a natural step for Dominic to found Humant in 2021.
Dominic has more than 20 years’ HealthTech experience having held positions in the NHS, Lexmark Healthcare and IBM Watson Health as well as consultancy roles in a number of scale-up organisations. He has executive experience building and leading teams, both technical and commercial across the UK, Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Alexandre Guimond, Ph.D.
With a passion for advancing healthcare informatics and improving patient outcomes, Alexandre was drawn to Humant's mission to empower patients and individuals. Alexandre brings his extensive experience and expertise in medical workflows, healthcare standards, and architecture & development to the team.
With over 30 years of experience spanning solution design, research & development, and sales within the healthcare industry, Alexandre is poised to make significant contributions to Humant's growth and success. His impressive track record in both start-up ventures like Mirada and DOSIsoft, as well as large corporate environments including Siemens and Hyland, further solidify his pivotal role in advancing Humant's vision for healthcare delivery.
Clinical Lead
Lauren Kemp B.Sc. (Hons)
Lauren is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over a decade of clinical practice across both health and social care settings. She currently serves as a Senior Occupational Therapist at Leeds City Council, where she plays a key role in delivering front-line services to individuals in need of support. Prior to this, Lauren worked within the NHS, gaining valuable experience across a range of clinical environments.
A passionate advocate for digital transformation in care, Lauren is a technology evangelist who believes that innovative tools and systems can meaningfully improve outcomes for both practitioners and service users. She brings deep insight into real-world clinical workflows, and her frontline experience ensures that our solutions are grounded in practical reality.
Lauren's contributions help shape our product development to ensure that we are solving the right problems, in the right ways—aligning innovation with the needs of professionals, patients, and families alike.

Meet Maria – Our Healthcare Growth Marketing Specialist
Maria brings a wealth of experience in helping innovative health tech, femtech, and medtech companies grow. She has supported organisations like Mojo, IBM Watson Health, and Babylon Health to build awareness, reach new markets, and drive adoption.
Based in Portugal and originally from the U.S., Maria has a strong understanding of international healthcare markets and specialises in strategic marketing for startups and scaleups. A multilingual speaker and respected trainer, she regularly shares her expertise at healthcare marketing events around the world.
